What is Lionism?
Lionism is a spirit within Lions Clubs where members feel the need to help
solve recognized problems and needs of the community through use of their
own resources. The clubs are non-political, non-sectarian groups of persons
from all facets of community life who work to enhance cooperation among all
agencies and organizations to meet and alleviate needs not only in their own
country but also in 177 countries throughout the world.
Lionism affords this efficient medium for national and world service,
exerting tremendous influence for natal welfare, international amity and
peace, and human progress socially, culturally and economically.
