July 21          SGL World Famous FESTA ITALIANA.  At this point, all we need to

do is sell tickets (300) and collect raffle prizes.  This is our biggest

fundraiser and best of all, we all get to have fun putting it together.

It’s the joint effort that makes it the huge success it always is.

Note from Membership Chair – please bring one guest a month.

Lookout for speakers all the time.  I have an idea I would like to discuss wit h membership to make meetings more interesting and get members involved.

The ‘personal hygiene kit’ for the needy is off to a good start.  Need some small bars of soap, small combs and Q-tips.

It means that you have decided to look beyond imperfections.”   An Unknown Author.

Sparks Greenbrae Lions was one of the three finalists in the Sparks Chamber of Commerce "Non Profit of the Year" category in 2009.

Sparks Greenbrae Lions Club really is the "Biggest Little Lions Club!".

King Lion Suraj, Donna and The Travel Center organized a fundraising cruise on board the new Mariner of the Seas to the Mexican Riviera in March 2009.  Members of the Fallon Lions, Sparks Greenbrae, Reno Arch and Ruby Mountain Clubs got together and raised $2100 for the Student Speakers Foundation.  Next year, we are looking at an Alaskan cruise for some more fun-fundraising for fellow Lions, their friends and family.
